Abdominal Therapy + Digestive Massage

Arvigo Abdominal Massage, Fertility Abdominal Massage, Reproductive Massage

This bodywork is an evolution of what was passed down by Dr. Rosita Arvigo intended to relieve congestion in the pelvic region by gently guiding displaced organs back into proper position for optimal health. This massage is structured to support the reproductive, digestive, nervous, and lymphatic systems and restore wholeness of the body.

Energy healing is woven into this practice, along with an honoring of self meditation, allowing for time to reconnect with the heart, womb or creative sacral space. Plant medicine may be offered during your session (herbal tea, essential oils, and/or paleo santo/sage). Other herbal remedies may be included if needed (castor oil pack, pelvic steam, moxibustion, or herbal compress). This work is meant to be deeply healing and supportive of embodiment and gentle trauma release.

**Please note: This type of bodywork is intended to be nurturing and restorative. All work is external. It may provoke the release of trauma and/or sexual healing, but it is not a sexual form of massage.

Digestive Massage

  • If you experience indigestion, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, gas, or heartburn regularly, it can impact other parts of your body. A healthy digestive system influences the immune system, how our body absorbs nutrients, energy, and mood.

Digestive Massage can help stimulate relaxation in the irritated digestive organs, promote circulation and movement, and alleviate stagnation to help reduce any discomfort.

    It includes:

    • Digestive massage with special blend of essential oils to aid in digestion. The therapist applies a blend of lavender, ginger, lemon, fennel, cardamom, and spearmint to the abdomen and gently integrates external massage techniques to help the digestive tract release any air, pressure, or solid build-up.

    • A heat pack is placed on the stomach while the therapist works the reflexology points on the feet to further stimuate the digestive organs.

    • Scalp massage (with or without lavender) can be integrated into your session to help reestablish that mind-gut connection.

Your therapist can discuss any additional things that may help reduce your symptoms, as she has training in Gut Wellness.

    • Ease bloating, constipation, and pressure

    • Improve bowel movements

    • Stimulate paristalsis to aid in nutrient absorption

    • Strengthen immune function

    • Reduce irritability and improve energy and mood

    • CBD Oil: anti-inflammatory and reduces pain

    • Anti-cellulite scrub: minimizes the appearance of cellulite and stretch marks.

    • Soothing Scalp Massage: fully relax the mind to increase relaxation to the gut
